Marc Beckett is an interdisciplinary water researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology IGB. He holds degrees in Biology and Environmental Sciences and works on the development of concepts for integrated water management and the Water-Energy-Food Nexus. His focus is on stakeholder-driven approaches to implement innovative solutions for sustainable development and climate change adaptation. He is a member of the German Water Partnership (GWP) and the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA). Within the Fraunhofer Innovation Platform for the Water Energy Food Nexus at Stellenbosch, he acts as the Business Developer for the Water Business Unit at Fraunhofer.
